The Specialist Quality Mark (SQM)
We have held the SQM since 2012. The SQM recognises the excellent client care that is provided to our legally aided clients.
We are proud to have been offering legal aid since it was first introduced. We currently have a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to offer advice in relation to family and mental health law.
Legal aid firms are subject to many reviews and audits on the quality of the service offered to clients. We are proud to have achieved a rating of 1 in our latest independent peer review of the family department; this rating, meaning “Excellence”, demonstrates the first class service we offer to clients.
The Association of Lifetime Lawyers
Danielle Tysall is an accredited member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers. Fully accredited Lifetime Lawyers are the gold standard when it come to supporting vulnerable and older people with legal advice. The accreditation demonstrates the specialist skills that are required to advise and support older and vulnerable clients.
The Law Society Children Law Accreditation Scheme
Our senior family Solicitors are independently recognised and accredited as specialists in children and family work. This accreditation enables them to act and represent children themselves within proceedings. Our accredited representatives are Jennifer Penman, Jennifer Stephenson, Gemma Cockitt and Karen Missenden.
The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS)
The Conveyancing Quality Scheme is the recognised quality standard for firms, setting out the standards of competence, risk management and client service levels expected of Solicitors.
We are proud to have been part of the scheme since in was initially introduced in 2011, demonstrating our commitment and skill in residential conveyancing.
The Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme
The Mental Health Accreditation Scheme is a recognised quality standard for practitioners representing patients in proceedings under the Mental Health Act 1983. The Head of our Mental Health Department, Leah McAdams, has been an accredited representative since 2018, demonstrating her experience in this area.
